VAST Healthcare Services supports clinics, hospitals and healthcare organizations working to expand access and improve health outcomes in rural and underserved communities.
Types of Support Provided
Discounted Services - providing reduced-cost access to VAST Healthcare Services specialized services in areas of compliance, quality improvement, staff and leadership training, operational efficiency and facility go-live support
Patient Program Funding - Direct financial support for specific patient-centric programs
Capital Project Funding - Financial assistance for facility improvements that directly enhance patient care environments, expand service capacity, or address critical infrastructure needs
Equipment Acquisition/Upgrade Funding - Support for the purchase or upgrade of essential medical equipment necessary for delivering high-quality and accessible care
Who Can Apply
Grants will be awarded exclusively to healthcare provider organizations with special consideration given to providers operating in or primarily serving rural and medically underserved areas, as evidenced by designations from federal or state health agencies or by demonstrated community need. Examples of healthcare provider organizations includes:
